~ Creating your reality from the inside out ~

People say all the time that we create our reality. This is easy to believe until something undesired happens. Then for most people the idea collapses, and they go into thoughts like; ‘How and why did I create this ‘bad’ thing?’, ‘I must be being tested’, ‘I can never win’ ‘The cards are stacked against me’, ‘FML’ , or ‘What did I do to deserve this?’

It is high time for us to realize that the people and circumstances of our life, and the things that seem to happen ‘to’ us, are actually situations that our soul has guided us to, so that we could grow beyond what we have previously known.

Each life circumstance is neutral, even the ones that we perceive as bad, like getting sick,  losing our job, a car accident or a break up. The list is endless. All of these situations are things that seem to happen to us, but what if our soul guided us into these circumstances in order to raise our consciousness in the most expedient way possible? Further, what if every single thing we see before us was a divine and purposeful part of our soul plan?

We have been approaching a new paradigm for the past 30 years as we ascend our consciousness from The Piscean Age of Duality to the Unity Age of Aquarius. Life is no longer a This  or That proposition. The old paradigm of opposites (Duality)  is shifting to the paradigm of inclusion (Unity). So instead of This or That, we now have Yes, And

The creative source is all inclusive and intelligent, and it will orchestrate our life circumstances at every opportunity to facilitate our soul’s growth in the most efficient way possible - often that turns out to look like a heartbreaking life circumstance.

Yes, this situation may be painful at the moment, what would be revealed if we could resist going into denial, fear, blame, rejection or victimhood? Based on our response, the situation could either get much worse, or it could lead us to a place we could have found no other way. You know, the old “When God slams a door, look for the open window” idea.

True mastery is remaining neutral in all circumstances, no matter how they appear. By doing this, new avenues open for solutions. If we immediately go into reaction or victimhood, we choose a path, and rule out all the ways the situation could end up being for our benefit. And because we live in a benevolent, conscious universe, it is always to our benefit, otherwise it would not be happening.

I’m not implying that we should not feel the feelings that arise when we experience painful situations. We should acknowledge our feelings, but we can’t dwell there or make ourselves victims over it. Yes, this is really awful, I’m devastated that my lover suddenly left my life, it's the LAST thing that I wanted. And, I know that the creative source of all that is, loves me and wants my happiness and fulfilment. I know I’ve done the best I could. In my heart, I have asked for a healthy relationship that has space for my soul’s growth and this must be the most direct way for me to get there.  What if I could believe this heartbreaking situation is the best way for me to find it?

Sometimes it's so painful in the moment, we can’t see how this could work for our benefit. This is OK, don’t bypass the feelings, just ask for help.  And when we ask, the creative source of all that is, responds with guidance. We just have to be in a place to recieve it. It's that simple. We were not meant to take the journey of being human completely cut off from our creative source (!)  Source is ever present on the inner planes, and in the world around us, and when we tune in consistently, we will begin to hear it and feel it ever more clearly.

We have help all around us from spirit, we can dialog with our guides and the creative source at any time, we just need to ask for help and listen. The answer will come quietly in our own hearts and subtle urges to move in one direction or another. Sometimes, actually much of the time, the answer is something our ego will consider to be inconvenient or risky. Like taking a nap instead of reaching for a cup of coffee to keep going. Or taking time out for self care like body work, yoga or talking with a therapist. Sitting with or expressing our true feelings instead of numbing them. The ‘harder’ thing we are guided to do, is often the thing we need to do most!

The answer to our heart questions will also come through things that are spoken to us by friends and even complete strangers and interactions with animals. Source is always communicating! Are we expecting answers and tuning in? Or are we numbing out and missing the answers all around us?

It's up to us to know and to act.

Here are some journal prompts and questions to ask on the inner planes that lead us into creation instead of reaction.

  • What do I need most at this moment?

  • What if my soul guided me and the players in this drama to facilitate my highest healing?

  • What have I learned about myself through this exercise in pain?

  • How has it brought out the best in me?

  • How has it brought out the worst?

  • What if  I decide not to fight against what I cannot change and control, and I choose to trust where I am being guided?

  • What possibilities could open for me then?

  • If I accept this ending or loss, what new possibilities does it open for me?

  • How can I invest in myself instead of another?

  • What kind of therapy, books, classes, videos would help me learn from this situation?

That’s all I have for today. If you have made it this far, I thank you for reading on! I support you in your self care and your healing journey. I know if you are ready to truly heal, you have all the tools you need at your fingertips. Start today, I dare you!

Funny note, as I was finishing this blog, I remembered that there is a bible verse about these ideas, I searched for it and realized that it was Romans 8:28 —- August 28 is my birthday and I never made the connection until just now (!) The connection being, how I live my life, my birthday and this bible verse! This single idea spoken in this specific bible verse, has been the catalyst for my highest growth since I began my journey. This is a great example of source communicting, it always is for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

Who are You!?

You are the divine incarnate. No, I’m not saying that you are God. I’m saying that God expresses through you. Yes, little ‘ole you, in your one-of-a-kind snowflake way!

Your body is your vehicle, you only get one, and it is priceless.

Your life can be more.

When you serve others, your happiness grows.

You can learn to love what is good for you.

You have more time than you think, in fact you are always in charge of your life, and your time. Maybe you forgot because you gave your power away a long time ago.

You can be your own guru.

When you decide to honor your body by listening to it, and honoring it with enough love, peace, water, fresh air, healthy food and rest, it will reward you by feeling good all the time!!

You don’t have to create from the old, you can start fresh in every moment.

You can decide to love or forgive anyone no matter what they have done.

You rarely have to do what other people are doing or what they tell you. At least that’s true here in America. You have options, you may feel you don’t, but maybe if you dig deeper and you may find you do.

You cannot avoid sickness or death, they are a part of life, but you can use them as a catalyst for rebirth and growth.

When you willingly face sickness, hardship, and death instead of trying to avoid them, you find out that you are stronger than you think, and your reserves run as deep as the ocean.

22 ways you stay stuck and create dis-ease

  1. Give your power away to anyone who says they know more than you do, including doctors, politicians, people who are famous/beautiful/successful and anyone who claims to be an expert.

  2. Try to control others, and what they do, by any means available, including shaming and shunning, those are really effective.

  3. Don’t ask questions, and by all means don’t say anything that is unpopular, or goes against the narrative of those in control!

  4. Do what you’ve always done, when new inspirations come, ignore them... look someone just commented on your instagram, facebook or twitter, pay attention to that instead.

  5. Compare yourself to others, that should keep you quite busy.

  6. Look outside of yourself for meaning and answers, never look inward.

  7. Eat whatever you want, as much as you want. It’s OK! You’re body positive!!

  8. Don’t sleep or ever take naps, just have an energy drink or coffee and keep going.

  9. Don’t exercise, and by all means never, ever do yoga!!

  10. Stay in bad relationships out of obligation, convenience or fear of the unknown.

  11. Do work that you hate.

  12. Hold your feelings in and never express how you truly feel.

  13. Do what everyone else is doing, even if deep down it doesn’t feel right.

  14. When you hurt another or something bad happens, pretend like it didn’t happen and just keep moving.

  15. Blame others for your life circumstances.

  16. Don’t follow your passion, people might laugh at you or worse yet, you could fail!

  17. Don’t face your grief, sadness or fear, just numb out, here take this pill, eat this candy, look at your phone, binge a show, have a drink or a smoke. You’ll be feeling better in no time.

  18. Never take risks or push boundaries.

  19. Always judge others so you can feel better about yourself.

  20. Source your happiness from the outside world, never look within.

  21. Only notice what is wrong in the world and dwell on that to the exclusion of all else, in fact, talk about it as much as you can to anyone who will listen.

  22. Never change, just keep doing the same thing over and over.
